Word Lens is a nifty app in the App Store that translates signs, menus, and other simple things from English to Spanish or vise-versa. Simply point your device at anything in either language, assuming you bought that translation pack, and the app does the rest translating in real time! You don’t take pictures, you just look at your screen, take a still if you want, and Word lens changes the word already as it would look on the object in the language. Really neat, I was stunned by it, sometimes I need good lighting, but definitely something to check out or show people. Unfortunately the .99 language packs are separate and will go up to .99 soon, catch it while you can. The app doesn’t use and network since everything is built in, so you can even take your device to no WiFi/service zones and try it out. Got the new trainer out doing some great low slow rudder turns. These are really good practice, and will make rudder turns on other planes more better. You need rudder aerilon and elevator mixed in, and the right amount or it won’t stay flat and will fall out of the air. We also have some clips of E-flites Sea Fury, CB’s Frankencub Mk2, a cheap A10 Warthog ducted fan, and Sheena chasing our planes around a bit more….also Norm’s new rock crawler RC, twisting and turning in the rocks. Have to go to the course where they climb, and get some good footage there sometime
